Use these keys to input numbers, passwords, letters and symbols when writing messages, or to choose menu
options.
Pressing “.,” for a few seconds will activate/deactivate quickly the vibration mode from the stand-by screen.
Radio FM keys
OK Key: in FM radio mode, press this key to turn on and off the radio.
+/- keys on the side: Volume control.
Navigation key up: Turns On and Off the automatic search for the radio stations.
Navigation key left / right: to start a manual search for radio stations, scrolling the frequency. You can
fine tune the radio frequency by +0.1 MHz. or by -0.1 MHz using these keys if the automatic search is Off.
If it is On, a pressure on the left/right keys will automatically tune to the previous/next radio station.
Navigation key down: starts recording from the radio. The recording can be paused pressing the SIM2
key and stopped with the right function key.
Numeric keys (1-9): if pressed briefly, these keys call up the corresponding channels, previously saved
in the channels list; if pressed for a few seconds, they save the current radio frequency in the
corresponding position.
Key lock
In stand-by mode, just press the OK keys for some seconds: the keypad will be locked. Press the SIM2 call key,
then "Space" to unlock.
If you want to set up an auto-lock, select Menu, then choose Settings > Security Settings > Auto Keypad
lock, then select the desired time; after the phone is idle for the selected time period, the keypad become locked.
When the keypad is locked, it's possible to answer a phone call just pressing the OK key; after the call is ended,
the keypad will be locked again.
Languages and input language
Italian is the default phone language and default text-input language. For different areas, there are 4 languages
available (English, French, Spanish, German) with the corresponding input modes.
How to change the menu language: from the Phone main menu select Settings > Phone settings > Language
> [select a language].
How to change the input language: from the Phone main menu select Messages > Write message > Options
> XT9 Setting > Writing language > [select a language].
Incoming call alert
The mobile phone has an inbuilt vibration motor and buzzer and provides several incoming call modes:
ring only
vibrate only
vibrate and ring
vibrate and then ring.
To modify the call alert:
Menu > User Profiles > [Profile] > Customize >SIM1/SIM2 Alert type
